Disc Herniations: Bulging or ruptured discs in the spine causing pain and discomfort. Plan: Control pain and promote extension to reduce symptoms. Progressive overload and functional core to stabilize the spine.
Low Back Pain: Chronic or acute pain in the lower back, requiring comprehensive exam to determine strategies and management.
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome: Compression of nerves and blood vessels near the shoulder, causing pain and numbness. Plan: Reduce compression: stretch the pectorals, upper trapezius and improve mobility of shoulder and neck.
Foot and Ankle Injuries
Plantar Fasciitis: Inflammation of the plantar fascia, leading to heel pain. Plan: Reduce tension and load management focus, strengthen the entire posterior chain.
Achilles Rupture: Severe injury to the Achilles tendon, often requiring surgical intervention. Plan: Restoring function, mobility and a focus on prevention.
Ankle sprains: Rolling the ankle, often the ligaments on the outside get stretched. Plan: Balance, ankle stability and control swelling with PEACE and LOVE acronym
Shin Splints: repetitive impact typically from running or excessive walking (rucking). Plan: Load management and lifestyle strategies
Concussion and Whiplash Injuries

Shoulder Pain
Rotator cuff: The muscles on your scapula keep the humerus of your shoulder back. Often these muscles are under strain. Plan: we treat the postural imbalances, strengthen and improve mobility. Plan: control pain,
AC joint separation: From a fall or hit to the shoulder they can present with a “step deformity” and the ligaments can be sprained from 1-3rd degree. Plan: Control Pain. Regain function with ROM and stability exercises.
Frozen Shoulder: A gradual loss of all movements of the shoulder from immobilization and is a secondary complication to a prior shoulder injury and some illnesses. Plan: Joint mobilizations, circular movements of the ball and socket joint, and fascial release.

Adductor Strains: resulting from a big stretch of the inner thigh muscles from a slip or quick uncontrolled lateral lunge in a sport. Plan: Adductor strengthening and muscular control
Hand, Wrist & Elbow injuries:
Carpal Tunnel: typically caused from extending and flexing the wrist over a period of time putting pressure on the median nerve. Plan: Release tightness, strategies for lifestyle including wrist brace + awareness of wrist positions at work, activities and sleep.
